Janice’s French Style Green Beans

Growing up in a household with three sisters, cooking became natural for me.  Since it was six of us, going out to eat was not much of an option.  The two times that our father would take us out was for Mother’s Day and my mom’s birthday.   My older sisters and I would help the most in the kitchen when mom requested; but there was one sister that seemed to get out of helping in the kitchen.  For those that know our family, you can easily guess that it was Janice.  Her specialty was cooking popcorn on the stove and still cooks popcorns every Sunday evening!

Although Janice’s time in the kitchen is limited, she is still able to make tasty dishes.  When Janice sent me the picture of the French Green Beans, I just had to post it.

This is a great example of Miss G’s All-Purpose Seasoning and its versatility.

2 – 12 oz bags of French Style Green Beans (frozen)

3 slices of bacon

2 cloves of fresh garlic

Miss G’s Seasoning to taste

Dash of pepper

Thaw green beans in a microwave safe container for 3 – 5 minutes and set aside.

Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy and save for garnish later.

Add chopped garlic to large skillet and cook for two minutes over medium heat.

Add green beans and seasonings; stir fry for 5 – 6 minutes.

When done add bacon for garnish.

If you want to make it vegetarian, use two tablespoons of olive oil instead of the bacon. Taste great either way!
